PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) presidential candidate (bacapres) Ganjar Pranowo attended the wedding of former PBNU Chairman Kiai Mustofa Aqil Siroj’s son. Ganjar was present with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md in that friendship.
The moments between these two figures were seen in Ganjar Pranowo’s Instagram account upload, Sunday (8/10/2023). In the photo shared, Ganjar is also seen chatting with Mahfud and Kiai Aqil Siroj.
“Congratulations on the blessing of a new life for Gus Sobbah and Ning Fayya. God willing, the prayers of the pious people who are present at the KHAS Kempek Islamic Boarding School today will be an introduction to sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah,” said Ganjar in his upload statement.
This was also conveyed by the Chairman of the PPP Advisory Council, Romahurmuziy or Rommy. He said the event took place at the KHAS Islamic Boarding School, Cirebon, West Java.
“Attending the wedding of Nanda Shobbah and Fayya. Son of KH Mustofa Aqil Siraj (Chairman of the PPP Sharia Council) and daughter of KH. Ni’amillah Aqil Siraj, caretaker of the KHAS Islamic boarding school, Kempek, Cirebon. May you be blessed with a sakinah, mawaddah, wa rohmah family !” he said.
Meanwhile, in the PDIP upload, it is stated that Ganjar, Mahfud and other guests were talking to each other. Ganjar came there accompanied by his wife, Siti Atikoh.
“Accompanied by Siti Atikoh, Ganjar Pranowo attended the invitation to the wedding of Kyai Mustofa Aqil Siroj’s son at the Kempek Cirebon Islamic Boarding School. On this occasion, Ganjar appeared to have a warm conversation with Mahfud Md and other invited guests,” added a statement on the PDIP account.
