Ganjar Outperforms Anies and Prabowo

The Development Technology Strategy (DTS) survey institute revealed the Governor of Central Java Pranowo reward has the highest electability as a presidential candidate for the 2024 General Election. Ganjar’s electability beat a number of potential candidates, such as Anies Baswedan and Prabowo Subianto.

DTS Executive Director Ainul Huda said Ganjar ranks first of the 21 names of presidential candidates for 2024. Ganjar has an electability of 20.4 percent in this survey.

“Prabowo and Ganjar are in tight competition, 20.2 percent and 20.4 percent, while Anies is under 16.6 percent,” Huda said at an online press conference, Sunday (11/14).

There are a number of other potential names, such as the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno, and Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. However, the electability of the figures is only below 10 percent.

In the simulation of 10 presidential candidates, Ganjar remained in first place with an electability of 22.8 percent. Prabowo is in second place with 19.5 percent and Anies is in third place with 17.6 percent.

The same sequence also occurs in the simulation of seven presidential candidates. Ganjar is solid with 24.3 percent. Meanwhile, Prabowo won 20.1 percent and Anies grabbed 17.7 percent.

In the simulation of three presidential candidates, the order remains the same. However, Ganjar is getting stronger with electability reaching 31.57 percent.

“Ganjar has the highest support, followed by Prabowo and finally Anies Baswedan,” said Huda.

The survey was conducted by DTS in October 2021 involving 2,046 respondents. Survey participants came from 29 provinces selected through the method multistage random sampling.
