Ganjar Falls Silent as Amien Rais Discusses Unsuccessful U-20 World Cup in Indonesia

Jakarta

Head of the Ummat Party Shura Council Amien Rais discussed the impact of canceling Indonesia as the host U-20 World Cup. Amien Rais linked this to the electability impact of the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo of 2024.

“After the revocation from FIFA, Indonesia as the host of the U-20 World Cup was revoked, maybe there were more severe sanctions, then suddenly, Mr. extraordinary,” Amies Rais said after the Central Java Ummat Party Rakerwil event at the INC Hotel, Semarang, as reported detikJatengSunday (2/4/2023).

Amien Rais followed the development of Ganjar’s electability. He is waiting for the steps that Ganjar will take to boost his electability again after the failure of the U-20 World Cup.

“So the destruction has occurred, now how to systematically reduce the magnitude or magnitude of the destruction we don’t know yet, so this is very interesting,” said Amien.

He also said his party was determined to support Anies Baswedan. This was decided in the Ummat Party National Working Meeting some time ago.

“What is clear is that we have determined through the National Working Meeting that we are Anies Baswedan,” said Amien Rais.
