Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo reveal the red zone Corona virus (COVID-19) there are only two regions in the area. The two regions are Semarang City and Demak Regency.
“There were reports from the expert team, only two were red. The first was Semarang, the second was Demak,” Ganjar said after a COVID-19 meeting in his office, Semarang, Monday (6/29/2020).
Nevertheless, he continued, currently there are still 11 areas that are still being watched and need special attention. These areas are in the medium category.
“But we have our own records which we are still watching in addition to the two regions. In total there are 11 regions that we consider still need special attention even though the map is in the medium category,” he explained.
He hoped that controlling the distribution of Corona could be done even more following the revocation of the Indonesian Police Chief’s announcement. For the red zone like Semarang City, Ganjar hopes there will not be any easing.
“Precisely with the condition of Semarang it should be tightened again so that we can control. The community please help the mayor so that it can be controlled properly and of course the Mayor of Semarang cannot be alone so my duty is to help andcover events related to the city of Semarang, “he said.
“Umpama Demak because Demak is also rising, then the close ones like Salatiga, Kendal, Semarang Regency and Grobogan, who are also still under surveillance,” continued Ganjar.
Ganjar also reminded that the areas that have entered the yellow zone and approaching the green to stay alert.
“The yellow one is approaching green, we ask the regent, the mayor to remain cautious, do not be reckless, keep checking the consistency of the additions so as not to bother when pulling policy,” he said.
