The developer Appeal and NACON, which is responsible for the release, are very optimistic for the time being and are doing everything to convince the doubters that this will be a good game.
As one of the latest tools for this, a three-and-a-half-minute long gameplay presentation was created, which serves as a sort of summary. The creators have collected all the interesting details, which are good to be aware of before anyone gets involved in steampunk robin-hugging.
The gist of the story has been known for some time: the judge of Nottingham stole the Lionheart crystal from the king, which boosts the industry with its magical power, and with this he carves an invincible army for himself, which keeps the people in terror. Only Robin, Mariann, Tuck and Little John stand up to him.
Each character plays a different role in the team, and successful missions require teamwork, helping and supporting each other. Each of them represents a different playing style, so everyone can find something they like. And between two missions, at the headquarters, we can carve them into warriors with the physique and equipment we like.
Gangs of Sherwood is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will be released on November 2nd. Anyone who buys the Lionheart Edition will get extra skins, a digital artbook and a digital music album with the game, and can start the adventure 72 hours before the others.
