The Third Court Against Organized Crime of Santa Ana issued a conviction against terrorists from the Stoner Locos Salvatruchos clique of the MS13 in the northern area of Santa Ana. They were captured thanks to the telecommunications intervention from June to December 2020.
During the trial, the Prosecutor’s Office presented statements from agents, victims and witnesses that established the manner, time and place of the events. The criminals operated in Río Zarco, El Milagro, Santa Ana Norte Urbanization and the historic center.
A total of 27 people must serve sentences for crimes such as aggravated homicide, aggravated robbery, aggravated extortion, attenuated attacks on individual freedom, disappearance of people and illicit groups, resolving 52 current cases.
Among those convicted is Óscar Gerardo Martínez, with 219 years in prison for twenty-four crimes, followed by Saúl Elías Ramos Contreras with 177 years, and Gamaliel Arnoldo Flores Cadenas and Christian Vladimir Medina Quintanilla with 25 years each.
In addition, several defendants will serve sentences of 15, 13, 9, 8, 7 and 4 years in prison for their participation in the criminal acts.
