In northwestern Nigeria, gunmen killed at least 20 people. Kaduna State Minister of Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruvan said this, according to the local Premium Times on Sunday, December 19.
“The attack was carried out on three villages in the Idasu region – Kauran Fava, Marke and Riheya. More than 20 civilians were killed,” the minister said.
According to Aruvan, the bandits looted and set fire to houses, as well as agricultural equipment.
