In this month of September it’s time to take stock of some of the activities that have gained special prominence during the summer, even more so in the context of the pandemic we are experiencing. We refer to the task that the 180 Red Cross lifeguards in a good part of the southern beaches of La Safor and in Gandia. Their work produces optimal results in terms of the service provided to bathers but also to the strict protocol that this group has had to follow to avoid contagion.
The President of the Gandia Red Cross, Toni Martí, has indicated in Hoy por Hoy Gandia that you have to put“a ten” to the lifeguards, but also to the informants hired by the Generalitat and the municipalities, the Local Police and the bathers themselves, who in general have had an exemplary behavior when going to the beach.
