The councilor for health and health policies, Liduvina Gil, accompanied by José Vicente Castell, head of the Vicky Foods Foundation and Maribel Codina, president of AECC Gandia, presented in a press conference the solidarity campaign Hope Run which will be held this Sunday in Gandia. Gil explained the details of this Hope Run: “It is a collaboration with SOLTI, a cancer research foundation made up of over 450 researchers. In addition, this is the first study of patients with metastatic breast cancer.”
For his part, Castell expressed that he wants to support the campaign in two ways: «By helping, on the one hand, to spread both the race and the campaign and, on the other, hosting this Friday the conference ‘Advances in cancer treatment of the mother'”. It will take place at the headquarters of the Foundation, in Villalonga, at 19:00 and will be held by Dr. Quino Gavilà, member of the research group of the SOLTI group and clinical manager of the IVO medical oncology service. “One of the The foundation’s purpose is to promote research, and we understand that this initiative has a very positive impact on society,” said Castell.
