Gandhi bookstores has confirmed the closure of its “Gandhi Oportunidades” bookstore, located at Miguel Ángel de Quevedo 134, as reported THE UNIVERSAL. Through a message in your official account Twitter the corporate indicates that it will be transformed into its new offices.
In the message addressed to readers, Gandhi reports: “We want to communicate to you that we have made the decision to close the Gandhi Opportunities bookstore located at Miguel Ángel de Quevedo 134 to transform it into the new space for our corporate offices, right where everything started in 1971 ”.

They assure that from there they will work with the commitment to bring culture and entertainment to everyone. “The meaning for us and for those who were fortunate enough to live and frequent this magical place is memorable and represents an important part of our history,” they point out.
“Gandhi Oportunidades” reopened its doors after three months of closure by the pandemic of the Covid-19, but now without the cafeteria and with a certain destination: to close.

In the statement, Gandhi points out that all its branches, including the Mauricio Achar bookstore, located opposite the one that will close, “remain open with a view to growing and improving the experience for all communities.”
