Jens Fermann had packed the toolbox after several days of work, and was going home by plane to Mehamn from Berlevåg, this March day 40 years ago. But just before he was to leave for the airport, he met a customer who wanted Fermann to service his snowmobile. It saved the life of the mehamnværingen.
