On Saturday morning, a 21-year-old car driver had a self-accident on Wildhauserstrasse. This was on the way from Wildhaus in the direction of Gams when her car suddenly started sliding in a left bend. The car then crashed into the Simmibach, where it came to a standstill lying on its side in the shallow water. The 21-year-old suffered minor injuries and was able to leave the car on her own, as stated in the statement from the St. Gallen cantonal police. She was brought to the hospital by a passerby. Property damage to the car amounted to around 4,000 francs. The public prosecutor of the canton of St. Gallen ordered the driver to take a blood and urine sample.
