The LEGO Group is back with a 400 square meter stand at Gamescom 2024. One focus: the new LEGO Fortnite-Sets.
In previous years, the LEGO brand appeared at Gamescom primarily as a sponsor of the Family & Friends Area, where children (and adults) could engage with analogue blocks away from the digital hustle and bustle of the trade fair. The concept will change fundamentally for Gamescom 2024, as LEGO will operate its own stand in Hall 6.
On 400 square meters, the toy market leader presents the products and innovations from the LEGO worlds of experience based on well-known video games – including:
- LEGO Super Mario
- LEGO Minecraft
- LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog
- LEGO Animal Crossing
- LEGO The Legend of Zelda
- and brand new: LEGO FortniteFrom October 2024, the company will bring four sets onto the market (Durr Burger, Supply Llama, Peely Bone, Battle Bus).
Part of the Gamescom appearance is a show stage with presentations by LEGO designers as well as influencer campaigns.

The mutual relationships between LEGO and the games industry are traditionally close – and extraordinarily successful: LEGO cooperates with leading publishers in the implementation of LEGO video games, such as Take-Two (LEGO 2K Drive), Epic Games (LEGO Fortnite) or Warner (LEGO The Hobbit, LEGO Worlds, LEGO Jurrassic World, LEGO Harry Potter). LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was one of the best-selling computer games in Germany in 2022. Sony Interactive plans to release the PlayStation 5 game LEGO Horizon Adventures based on the action-adventure series of the same name.
