Gamers criticize Cyberpunk 2077 for seemingly undeserved Steam Awards

Valve summed up the past year and some of the games received unusual awards from users. For example, Cyberpunk 2077 won the Favorite Child award. But not everyone liked it.

Reason for appointment:

Far back is the time when developers first showed their creation to the world. Like true loving parents, they never stop raising and supporting their child. And to this day, something new has been added to the game.

The point is that some users I do not agree with the fact that the game deserves the “Favorite Child” award and the overall popularity is associated with the release of the Edgerunners anime. The reason is simple: CDPR does not add new content to the game.

Reviews from dissatisfied users:

  • The game is still empty and missing the promised features. We get what we deserve when people keep advocating this kind of nonsense.

  • Perhaps there are fewer critical bugs, but there are still many, and very many. Do you really think the game deserves “Beloved Child”?

  • How This Game Won Favorite Child Award When They Literally Release An Unfinished Game And Fix Their Shit Over The Next Months

However, the situation cannot be called a classic review bombing. There are quite a few dissatisfied users, but the situation itself takes place.

Cyberpunk 2077 available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
