Microsoft is no stranger to exploring new ways for people to check out and experience Game Pass. The latest effort in this direction is the Friend Referral Offer, which allows Game Pass subscribers to offer up to five friends a free 14-day trial of the service, with full access to all of its bells and whistles (e.g. EA Play, Riot Games’ titles, the first day Game Pass launches, etc.).
As revealed by the planIn the Xbox Wire blog postAs noted, this recommendation system is only available to complete Game Pass newcomers, and it also appears to only be available on the PC Game Pass version of the service, not the regular Xbox version.
