Gamers save the world

It’s not the first time gamers have saved the world in a movie. In 1983’s War Games, actor Matthew Broderick plays a gamer who plays against a military supercomputer to prevent nuclear war. Gamers are also the heroes in Tron, Ender’s Game and Ready Player One, among others.
