The game of the 2nd handball league between Dessau-Roßlauer HV 06 and ASV Hamm-Westfalen, scheduled for Sunday, was canceled at short notice.
The reason: The PCR tests of the ASV players on Saturday were lost on the way to the laboratory and therefore did not arrive there. So there are no current test results for the Sunday game at DRHV.
The game therefore had to be canceled due to the existing hygiene guidelines of the handball Bundesliga. This stipulates that the current corona test results of both teams involved in the game must be available to HBL before the game.
DRHV managing director Sebastian Glock is quoted on the Dessau homepage about the cancellation of the encounter with the words: “It’s a shame that we can’t play, but all representatives of the 2nd HBL agreed on the implementation of the hygiene guidelines before the start of the season. We will arrange a new game date on Monday with the representatives from the 2nd handball Bundesliga and ASV Hamm-Westfalen. “
