The action battle royale zombie game, Passed Out, developed by Tacty Studio, which consists of three developers, was released as Early Access through Steam on the 14th.
Passed Out adds a zombie survival element to a battle royale game where players compete to be the last person standing. The goal of winning the game is to survive until the end and find the escape point. A total of 50 survivors start the game together, and over 2000 zombies attack the player and the survivors. The more enemies and zombies you kill, the higher your score, and the higher your score, the higher your rank.
When the game starts, the player can select a desired location on the map and start the game directly from that point. Since zombies can come in groups at the beginning of the game, players must farm various weapons, equipment, and material items to become stronger. In the case of zombies, there are many of them, but their health is low, so even if you have minimal equipment, your chances of survival increase.
Weapons include sniper rifles, pistols, rifles, and shotguns, and ammunition must be farmed separately. Equipment items include body armor, helmets, and bags. In addition, there are grenades and first aid kits as consumables, and you can make grenades or bulletproof vests with material items obtained during farming.
Players must survive by killing enemies and zombies until they become the last survivor, and as the game progresses, the battle space gradually shrinks like the battleground’s magnetic field system. If you are the last person standing, the escape point where the helicopter arrives will be informed, and if you break through the zombies and ride the helicopter at that location, you will succeed in escaping.
Passed Out currently has ‘Mostly Positive’ reviews on Steam. Users who gave positive reviews highly praised the game’s development potential, the developer’s quick feedback, and its similarity to the game H1Z1. On the other hand, users who gave negative reviews pointed out the poor balance of the game and the overall poor and unfinished state of the game.
Passed Out was released on PC (Steam) as an early access on the 14th, and Korean language is not officially supported.
