Game developers Gismart and Snapchat enter into a cross-platform multi-game partnership

Gismart and Snap Inc. form a cross-platform partnership and roll Gismart’s second game Crazy Run worldwide on Snapchat. In addition, Gismart Bitmoji Integrate into your own games, starting with the game Perfect Expert 3D. British game developer Gismart brings its own expertise in developing entertaining, easily accessible and highly engaging games on Snapchat to the collaboration. Snap is expanding its own technology and adding its social and interactive tools via Bitmoji for Games into Gismart’s native titles for iOS and Android.

Crazy Run, Gismart’s latest release for Snap Games, is a competitive real-time multiplayer game. Players use their own Bitmoji to overcome unusual obstacles in a kind of hurdle race. After the game’s soft launch in February 2021, Gismart doubled its retention rate by adding the friend-matching feature. So Snapchatters can compete with their friends before they compete against other Snapchatters. So far, more than seven million players have been reached.

As an early adopter of Bitmoji for Games, Gismart is also introducing Bitmoji in its own hyper-casual title Perfect Expert 3D. Bitmoji for Games enables game developers to personalize the gaming experience by embedding Bitmoji avatars in mobile, PC and console games. During the test phase in Perfect Expert 3D, the integration increased Day 1 by 20 percent and the ad impressions per DAU by 60 percent. Perfect Expert 3D is a house building simulation game that gives the player tools to make repairs. The game has already reached a total of 314 million game sessions – this corresponds to an average of three million game sessions per day.

With the multi-game partnership now closed, Gismart is deepening its own commitment to game development for Snapchat and making the popular Bitmoji avatars an integral part of its own mobile game apps. Gismart is an early game partner of Snap and will have its first game in the summer of 2019 Color Galaxy first released on Snapchat. Since its global release in January 2020, the game has drawn 41 million players under its spell. These have so far spent more than 15,500 million hours in the game. The total number of game sessions is currently more than 132 million, with a daily peak of 721,000 users per day.

“Color Galaxy is a hit with over 40 million Snapchatters playing since launch,” said Pedro Rodrigues, Head of EMEA Games Partnerships at Snap Inc. “We’re excited to expand our partnership with Gismart to accommodate our growing community of To offer 265 million more games daily active Snapchatters and to personalize the gaming experience in the iOS and Android games from Gismart with our Bitmoji avatars. ”

“What started out as a single game collaboration quickly expanded into a solid collaboration and now into a multi-game partnership. We are excited to introduce Crazy Run and hope that the audience will enjoy playing it as much as Color Galaxy, ”added Lana Meisak, VP BD and Marketing at Gismart. “We look forward to exploring new opportunities with Snap. Our early partnership with the platform, the integration of its technology as well as Snap Kit and Bitmoji for Games open up new perspectives for both sides. We are currently discussing other ways to use Bitmoji for Games with exciting third-party brands. “

Snap Games is a real-time multiplayer gaming platform designed for high fidelity, i.e. synchronous gameplay between friends. Snapchatters play Snap Games together without installing a separate app. Instead, Snap Games are simply accessed via chat, where millions of conversations take place every day, which can then turn into game sessions. With 265 million daily active users who use Snapchat every day on average worldwide, and over 80 percent of 13- to 24-year-olds in Germany who use Snapchat, Snap Games represents an enormous opportunity for developers of mobile games.
