The Game Awards, the prizes for the best games of the year, will take place on December 10th. The show will be live streamed from three different cities, reports The Verge Wednesday.
The free live stream will be recorded in studios in Los Angeles, London and Tokyo. As with previous editions, organizer Geoff Keighley will present the ceremony. New games are also expected to be announced and trailers of new games will be shown.
In addition to the usual categories, such as the game of the year and the best shooting game, this year, for the first time, there is an award for the most accessible game. According to the organization, the award goes to the creator who “propels the medium forward by adding features, technology and content that enable even more people to enjoy games”.
