Game Awards 2021 – When does it start, what will be shown?

At the Game Awards 2021, the best games of the year will be honored in around 30 categories on Thursday night (December 10th). In addition, the event held in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles attracts numerous world premieres.

Admittedly, the interest in the awards is likely to be low for many gamers this year as well. This is less about award winners than about new trailers – the wish list for 2022 is long and extremely exciting. How about a new trailer for “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2” or a new look at the sci-fi RPG “Starfield”? The time before the Game Awards invites you to dream again and again, the time afterwards mostly to gossip and moan.

If you want to be there live, you should put the energy drinks cold and let the coffee machine run hot. Since the event starts Thursday evening in distant Los Angeles, German viewers have to bravely hold out until 2 a.m. on Friday in order to at least see the start of the show.
