This Wednesday, December 27 Ofelia Castro, registrar of the municipality of Gamarra, Cesar, was discharged after spending 60 days in the Intensive Care Unit from the Santander University Hospital, in the city of Bucaramanga.

“The ESE University Hospital of Santander informs that today, December 27, the Registrar of Gamarra, Cesar, has been discharged, who was admitted to the institution due to serious burns as a result of an event that occurred in said municipality.reads a statement released by the health center.
The registrar suffered serious burns to her body in the fire that occurred at the entity’s headquarters on October 28when a group of citizens threw gasoline in the middle of a protest, causing a conflagration that claimed the life of official Duperly Arévalo and left two injured.
