“I will speak to all the players. Leading such a squad is a privilege. We must have a common project, without compromises. I’m not going to revolutionize the dressing room, I know I’ll have everyone’s support. As soon as a player is no longer in the project, he will be put on hold.”
Galtier then dropped breadcrumbs on how PSG are likely to operate with him on the sidelines, which has already brought a squad of acclaimed campaigns during his previous tenures in French football’s top flight, and also briefly discussed what form PSG will take with him at the could helmet.
“I want to see intensity, rhythm and the players quickly winning the ball back high up on the pitch. I haven’t met the players yet, but I’ve spoken to management about what I want to do.”
“There has been a lot of talk about a three-man defense. I’m lucky to have incredible wingers, but also those who are the center of the game. But there is a tendency towards three-point defence, yes.”
