During the National Holiday Week, Latvian citizens living in the United Kingdom and Ireland will receive a musical gift – the group “Brainstorm” has arrived on a concert tour for their compatriots, TV3 News reports.
At the beginning of the week, “Brainstorm” performed in Manchester, then in Birmingham, and a concert was held in London on the national holiday, November 18.
The compatriots have been so thirsty for Latvian coexistence that all the concerts of the “Brainstorm” in Great Britain have gathered practically like singing together with the audience – just like in a choir.
Among the two and a half thousand spectators, there were also those who did not live in Great Britain, but came from Latvia especially due to the “Brainstorming” concert, because due to the restrictions of the pandemic, such concerts cannot be held here yet. Renārs Kaupers called the London Hall Little Latvia from the stage, and he made sure that all the cultural and historical regions of Latvia were represented. And then he broke into the audience with a flag on his shoulders.
The “Brainstorm” concert tour with compatriots of the diaspora will end tomorrow, November 20, with a performance in Dublin.
