Neighbors, family and friends of El Potrero, in Xalatlaco, came together to make preparations to receive Gabriela, the young mother of the family who lost her life on Friday in the attack against Omar García Harfuch.

From very early on, the women came to prepare the food that they would offer to those who accompanied the family; In an alternate room, another group made tortillas to bring forward the food they will offer today, as it is expected that some 400 companions will arrive to say goodbye. The pastor who will lead the religious ceremony in his honor was present, waiting for his body to arrive.

Transferred from Mexico City, the coffin arrived in the afternoon, escorted by two patrols and a vehicle where their relatives were traveling, who asked for pivacity to celebrate the funeral.

For her part, Tania, the 19-year-old girl who was injured in an arm, left the facilities of the Polanco Mexican Red Cross yesterday.

According to sources from the institution, Tania’s family members signed the voluntary discharge around 18:00 on Friday, after being reviewed for a slight injury to her left arm, which did not put her life at risk.

Tania is Gabriela’s sister, she was traveling in a car with the victim, her husband, José, and her sister-in-law Bethzaida, when the bullets hit them at the intersection of Monteblanco and Sierra Nevada.
