Reserves are low, so Sergas calls on the population to come and donate

The Organ and Blood Donation Agency has appealed to citizens to participate in the donation, since the reserves of groups A positive, 0 positive and 0 negative are low. The festive days of Holy Week have affected the reservation levels of the different groups, for which reason Sergas makes this request taking into account that Galician health centers need between 400 and 500 daily donations to carry out their work.
During holidays and festive periods, blood extractions tend to drop but not so the needs, since surgical interventions, traffic emergencies and other medical processes do not decrease. Tomorrow, Friday, the mobile donation units will be in O Vicedo, Monte Alto and Cantn-Obelisco (A Corua), Boiro, Lestedo (Boqueixn), Vilagarca, Nigrn, Navia (Vigo), Monforte and Allariz. On Saturday they will do it in the Canton-Obelisco (A Corua), Boiro, Vilagarca, Nigrn and Palas de Rei. In addition, the seven main hospitals in Galicia have premises where you can donate.
