The dripping of public complaints from people who have not yet been vaccinated despite having already passed the turn of his age group. In the last 24 hours on Radio Coruña Cadena SER we have collected the testimony of four people from A Coruña with a common casuistry: They are all over 60 years old and, after not having attended the first appointment for various reasons, they have not yet been ‘recited’ by new.
This morning it was a 62-year-old neighbor who told us that he did not go to his first appointment because at that time he was in quarantine, was close contact of his daughter. He never tested positive, but both he and relatives around him were left without their first dose because they could not leave their home. Since then he has been in weekly contact with the Servizo Galego de Saúde (Sergas). He does not hide his frustration.
From Sergas they explain that cases like this are being duly controlled and that the protocol is being look for gaps in which to ‘re-fish’ whoever has remained pending. However, the gaps are few, since it seeks to affect the daily vaccination campaign as little as possible.
