Galicia plans to vaccinate 56,320 young people between 29 and 16 years old with the first dose next week | Radio Vigo

The Xunta de Galicia has reported that the mass vaccinations next Tuesday and Friday will be carried out for the age groups between the 29 and 16 years old, which means a total of 56,320 people summoned for the first dose.

As reported by the Ministry in a statement, the calls will be made by the usual method, sending an SMS to the mobile, and there will be no self-citation.

In addition, second doses will be inoculated on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the forecasts of the Xunta, 114,791 people will be vaccinated in four days, which will be distributed as follows:

On Tuesday 17, they will be vaccinated in the range of 29 to 16 years and repechages and, by area, 5,744 people will do it in A Coruña; 2,699 in that of Lugo; 2,688 in that of Ourense; 3,656 in Pontevedra; 7,150 in that of Vigo; 4,907 in that of Santiago; and 1,818 in that of Ferrol.

On Wednesday 18 will be used to administer second doses to 3,452 people in the health area of ​​A Coruña; 2,702 in that of Lugo; 2,305 in that of Ourense; 3,151 in Pontevedra; 6,488 in that of Vigo; 7,239 in that of Santiago de Compostela; and 1,864 in that of Ferrol.

The inoculation of second doses will continue on Thursday 19, the day on which 5,411 people will be vaccinated in the Coruña area; 4,252 in that of Lugo; 3,146 in Ourense; 3,590 in Pontevedra; 7,901 in that of Vigo; 3,750 in that of Santiago de Compostela; and 2,216 in that of Ferrol.

Finally, on Friday the 20th, vaccination will focus on first doses for the 29 to 16-year-old range, as well as play-offs. By health areas, 5,744 people will be cited in Coruña; 2,699 in that of Lugo; 2,688 in that of Ourense; 3,656 in Pontevedra; 7,150 in that of Vigo; 4,907 in that of Santiago de Compostela; and 1,818 in that of Ferrol.
