Galaxy S22 Ultra brings selfies to the Galaxy S10 fashion

As you may already know, Samsung’s next-generation smartphone range (Galaxy S22) will be announced sometime in February next year, with the S21 FE, the budget alternative to the current range, which of course… It should have been launched already, hitting shelves on January 11, 2022.

All that said, it seems, at least in the field of cameras, the switch from the S21 Ultra to the S22 Ultra will not bring anything new. Especially when we talk about the front camera, which will be exactly the same as what we could already find on the S20 Ultra, and interestingly, on the S10+.

So, truth be told, at this point in the championship, we already know everything or almost everything about what Samsung is going to launch at the beginning of next year. After all, we know the design, the chipset, the screen size, and we even know some details about the camera configuration used.

In fact, according to what has already been made public, the rear camera system will be very similar to that of the S21 Ultra, with some improvements only on the software side, due to the increased performance of the SoC used. But perhaps more curious than this, is the frontal sensor, for selfies, which apparently has been being reused for 3 years.

In other words, the S22 and S22+ will use the same 10MP sensor that we can already find in the S10, S10+, S21 and S21+. This while the S22 Ultra will use the 40MP sensor that, in the same way, we can also find in the S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra.

One thing is for sure, the system isn’t bad… But after 3 years, wouldn’t an update make sense? What do you think about all this? Please share your opinion with us in the comments below.
