TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones in February. Reports have revealed that the series has three phones, namely the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. Now, the Plus edition of the S22 has appeared on Geekbench with some of its key specifications as reported by the Nashville Chatter site.
Gizmochina today cited a recent report which states that a Samsung phone with the model number SM-S906U will be coming as Galaxy S22 Plus. On Geekbench 5, the S22 Plus has appeared with Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chip.

The chipset is equipped with four CPU cores clocked at 1.79GHz, three CPU cores clocked at 2.50GHz, and one CPU core clocked at 3.00GHz.
list Geekbench it further shows that the phone has 8 GB of RAM and Android 12. In the single-core test, it scored 1163 and 2728 points, respectively. The same phone was spotted on Geekbench with the upcoming Exynos 2200 chipset. The phone was also found to be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and Android 12.
The latest leak reveals that the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra will be released with the Snapdragon 898 mobile platform in the US, Asia, and Africa. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 lineup with the Exynos 2200 will debut in South Korea and other markets.
The Exynos 2200 chipset will include an AMD GPU. It remains to be seen if it will be able to offer superior performance over the SD898 chip. Qualcomm is expected to announce its flagship chip at the end of this month. On the other hand, the South Korean tech giant is likely to unveil the Exynos 2200 in early 2022.
