Earlier this month, Samsung Electronics Indonesia introduced a new variant of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) in the country. The latest version of the Galaxy S20 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm. The device will be available on Samsung.com since June 1, 2021 ago.

Previously, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition was released in Indonesia using the Exynos 990 processor. The main difference between the latest Galaxy S20 FE and the previous version is only the processor.
And it also has an impact on speed and performance. From the test results, the Galaxy S20 FE with Snapdragon 865 has an AnTuTu score of 574520. While the Galaxy S20 FE with Exynos 990 has an AnTuTu score of 506205.
The rest, the two phones are exactly the same. But, why did Samsung decide to bring the Galaxy S20 FE to Indonesia?
Head of Product Marketing IT&Mobile Samsung Electronics Indonesia Selvia Gofar said this step was taken to give fans a choice.
“Features such as IP68 Water Resistant, 120Hz Refresh Rate, Space Zoom camera, and attractive color choices are highly favored by Indonesian consumers,” said Selvia.
The Galaxy S20 FE is a more compact version of the Galaxy S20. The size is more compact, but the features are still complete. Suitable for those who have just entered or leveled up from the Galaxy A ecosystem to the Galaxy S ecosystem. If the Galaxy S is generally above Rp. 10 million, then the price tag of the Galaxy S20 FE is below Rp. 10 million.
Camera matters, for example, the Galaxy S20 FE carries a triple camera formation. Namely 12MP Ultra Wide Camera + 12MP Wide-angle Camera + 8MP Telephoto Camera and a 32MP selfie camera.
Some of the camera features include 30x Space Zoom, Night Mode, and Single Take. Includes HDR10+.
The screen itself is compact, namely Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display (1080×2400), 407ppi, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Sharp resolution and high refresh rate will provide a better gaming and viewing experience.
The battery is 4,500 mAh, weighs 193g, Hybrid SIM, Android 10, Dolby Atmos audio, also has the IP68 Water Resistant feature. Therefore, Selvia Gofar said that the Galaxy S20 FE is ideal as a daily driver.
