Samsung usually introduced new Galaxy Note smartphones in August, but this year it broke this tradition and unveiled new folding smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 a Z Flip 3. Although the former brought support for the S Pen stylus, it is definitely not a full-fledged replacement for the Note. It has been speculated for a while that the next Note will enjoy a delayed premiere sometime next year, but in the end Samsung seems to be canceling the series altogether. But it will not be completely without compensation.
Update: Note is over, but it’s not over. S becomes Note!

Galaxy S22 Ultra with shaft on S Pen?
According to the latest information from IceUniverse the Galaxy Note series has it calculated, but the spring series Galaxy S22 will allegedly become a full-fledged replacement, at least the top model Ultra, which is to be equipped with a shaft for the stylus S Pen. Not only that, the phone has to get a wider screen in a 19.3: 9 ratio (same as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) and should be less rounded overall, similar to previous Galaxy Note smartphones. Even though we find a shaft for a stylus in the bowels of the phone, the phone should keep a large battery with a high capacity of 5,000 mAh.
The departure from the Galaxy Note series has already been indicated by Samsung in this year’s model Galaxy S21 Ultra, which also supports the Galaxy S Pen stylus, but must be worn separately or in the original case with the shaft. However, this is not as convenient a solution as placing the stylus directly in the body of the phone.
