Samsung has announced the Galaxy M32 5G mid-range smartphone. The main feature of this latest M series smartphone is the chipset used. Carrying 5G frills, this smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 720 chipset from MediaTek, which provides support for 12 5G bands.
Talking about the appearance, the Galaxy M32 5G is packed with a 6.5-inch LCD screen panel that still carries Infinity-V bangs. The screen offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The bangs on the screen house a 13 MP front camera.
Meanwhile, on the back, Samsung has armed this smartphone with a 48 MP main camera. The main camera is closely coupled with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with 123-degree FoV, a 5 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The Dimensity 720 chipset powers devices with up to 8 GB of RAM. For storage, it offers up to 128 GB native storage. This smartphone arrives with Android 11 OS wrapped in One UI 3.1 interface. The South Korean company has confirmed that users will receive two years of OS upgrades.
The M32 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging via USB-C. It offers other connectivity features like dual SIM support, 5G/4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 5 and a polycarbonate back shell.
In short, the Galaxy M32 5G has arrived as a rebadged version of the Galaxy A32 5G which debuted in many markets earlier this year. Samsung itself has just launched this smartphone in the Indian market, which is priced at Rs 18,999 (Rp 3.7 million) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM variant.
Coming in Awesome Black and Awesome Blue colours, the first sale of the M32 5G will start on September 2, 2021 via Amazon India and Samsung India online stores. Unfortunately, Samsung has not announced when the Galaxy M32 5G will launch outside India.
