The final of the Turkish Super Cup would have been played at the end of December.
The match, originally scheduled for Saudi Arabia, was instead postponed to April 7 and moved to the Turkish city of Sanliurfa.
Fenerbahçe advocated an even later game date as the team faces Olympiakos in the Conference League on Thursday. A wish that was not fulfilled.

Club president Erol Bilecik spoke to local press about the decision:
– All players in our U-19 team will see this as a fantastic opportunity. I repeat again, our supporters do not need to make any travel plans. We are clear that our first team will not go to Sanliurfa and that it will not be a 90-minute match, says Bilecik.
