You became the coach of Arnavutköy Belediyespor, which is in the 3rd League Group 1. What do you see as your mission here?
Previously, I took part in 2nd League teams, before Arnavutköy Belediyespor, I worked for a short time in Adanaspor, the 1st league team. One of the reasons why I’m in Arnavutköy Belediyespor this year is because it’s in Istanbul. When our president talked to me, he said that he had very good projects and that he wanted to take the team up to the top with these projects. This offer appealed to me and we agreed, I hope we will move forward in line with our goals.
Do you care about age criteria in coaching?
I don’t care about the age criteria, many young teachers work, it’s a very good thing. If a person works and researches, he can easily close the experience criterion.
You have been coaching since 2014. Why haven’t you taken part in the Super League teams until now?
I have a 6-year coaching career. Of course, I would like to be in the Super League, but the conditions were not suitable for this. I hope it can happen next, I have goals. It is more important for me to be able to get somewhere by scraping with my nails, not with a torpedo from the top.

How is your relationship with Fatih Terim?
Our relationship is fine, I worked with him at a very young age and I learned a lot. His contribution to us is so great that I apply some of the things I see from him in teams from time to time. Fatih Terim We meet with the veterans of Turkish football from time to time and benefit from their experiences.

In our time, Burak President was young and inexperienced, but over time he gained that experience. Now he has the desired experience and his biggest supporter is Fatih Terim. He has a teacher who can ask everything and get advice. Burak Elmas’s biggest assistant will be Fatih Terim.

No, we have achievements out there and have done things that have not been done before.
