The fashion caravel is set to land in Paris this Monday, September 23, as Milan Fashion Week is soon coming to an end. Before setting down their suitcases in the City of Lights, actors and actresses, singers and singers, fashion muses, models, influencers and photographers ended Milan Fashion Week in style, with high-flying shows, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo and of course, Bottega Veneta. The front row of this last show was worth the detour… Hollywood rising star Jacob Elordi was there, seated next to ASAP Rocky, Michelle Yeoh, and boxer Imane Khelif. But the ones who really made the flashes crackle were Julianne Moore and Kendall Jenner. The silver screen star and the top model were indeed both at the cutting edge of fashion, in chocolate-colored monochrome looks.
Kim Kardashian’s little sister had opted for a long dress that left her ankles exposed in brown, designed by Matthieu Blazy, artistic director of Bottega Veneta. The piece with a high neck and long sleeves was draped at her waist, held in place by a graphic gold circle. Enough to highlight her brand new blonde mane, which Kendall Jenner adopted on September 11. “It took me two days to give it to him this gorgeous shade of golden blonde, which is inspired by the 90s and by Caroline Bessette-Kennedy”, had revealed her hairdresser Jenna Perry to VogueThe 28-year-old completed her monochrome look with caramel-coloured pumps and a glossy brown clutch.

Julianne Moore, for her part, opted for a slightly oversized pantsuit by Bottega Veneta. Her chocolate-hued suit had the particularity of being cut from leather, for a guaranteed shiny effect. The headliner of Still Alice wore the breathtaking ensemble over a simple white tank top, with a pair of immaculate 70s-style high-heeled ankle boots. As if to prove she’s always on top of the latest trends, the 63-year-old actress also adopted a rectangular leopard clutch, a key print for fall that goes perfectly with her signature red hair.

How to adopt brown, the essential color of the season?
“With the return vintage and 70’s trendbrown is also making a strong comeback. For spring, it’s a bit of a change from black and it’s quite flattering, especially on dark skin…”already decrypted for Gala.fr Last March, Fanny Guest, creative director at Pablo. Chocolate brown, caramel, iced, cognac, olive, auburn or lighter, in camel or beige versions… all the shades of this color are in fashion for this fall, which begins on September 23. We can adopt it on leather like Julianne Moore, in a cowboy jacket version like at Louis Vuitton or Max Mara, in a total look like Kendall Jenner, with pieces from Ami, Saint Laurent or Ferragamo, with leopard, or even on a brown bag.
