The man was reported missing after almost a day without contact.

Late Tuesday night, the police announced on Twitter that a search operation had been launched for a man who is away from the cabin south of Gålåvatnet on Gålå.
On Wednesday morning, the police report that the search operation is still ongoing.
There are about 40 volunteers involved in the search and crews are used on foot, dogs and drones.
The head of operations in the police, Sidsel Svarstad, said at 9 pm that the search operation was underway, and that the police started sending out dogs from Norwegian rescue dogs.
– There are some challenges with getting a helicopter in due to fog and rain in the area. It is not certain that we will get a helicopter in, so we use drones and people on the ground, she says.
Last seen yesterday
The man in his 70s was reported missing by relatives tonight. The last secure contact with him is said to have been yesterday afternoon.
The man must be in good shape for his age, he both hunts and goes for walks. The police are not aware that there are any underlying diseases.
However, the terrain around the cabin can be challenging. The cabin is located at 900-1000 meters above sea level, and it is partly harsh in the area. Operations Manager Svarstad says that there is rough terrain, forest, bog and water around the cabin. Exploration crews will be set to search both along paths, roads and in the forest.
The police want tips in the case, and can be contacted on 02800.
