Gagny: 400,000 euros more to renovate the Château de Maison-Blanche thanks to Heritage Mission

This is the maximum amount the project could receive. Supported by the town hall of Gagny, the renovation of the Château de Maison-Blanche will benefit from a grant of 300,000 euros thanks to the heritage mission embodied by Stephane Bern. As a bonus, AXA will pay an additional €100,000. Partner of heritage foundationthe group has reserved the option of bringing financial support to a project it deems remarkable.

This was presented to Culture Minister Rima Abdul-Malak last August. It foresees the opening of a school restaurant run by chef Thierry Marx, a conservatory, a tea room, a café and an artists’ residence, as well as the relocation of the already existing Smart University in the city.

“I am happy, very happy, even, reacts the mayor of Gagny Rolin Cranoly (LR). We have received the utmost support from the Foundation and the support of AXA’s patronage. We have raised 1,700,000 euros for our project, which has instead been revalued at around 3 million euros. »

The renovation of the Château de Maison-Blanche is therefore still waiting for partners to finance the remaining amount. The building site can still start once the building permit has been presented.

“We have begun our collaboration with the architect Pierre-Antoine Gatier, who has already made an initial proposal for a synthesis project, continues Rolin Cranoly. From now on, we are working with our teams to refine all of this and allow for a building permit to be filed in early 2023.”
