With the retirement of Jean Beausejour from the Chilean National Team last year, there are already several players who are excited about the option of being the replacement in that position of the two-time American champion with the Red.
One of the last to express it was Gabriel Suazo, a multifunctional footballer from Colo Colo, who claimed to have the skills to fight for ownership.
“I can fight for the position of left back of the national team. I would play in any position in the national team. I have been sparring and it has been a great experience. If I have to play as a winger, happy. I will try to do the best for the team”, acknowledged in conversation with DirecTV.
In addition, he referred to the chance to go abroad: “I don’t see myself in Mexico. I want to play in Europe, it is my goal and for this I am working hard. It is my dream.”
Regarding his references, he said: “I pay a lot of attention to the game of Arturo (Vidal) and Charles (Aránguiz), they have a tremendous quality. They are players of international level. I try to learn from them.”
Finally, Suazo commented on the present of Colo Colo and said that “most of the teams have more rhythm than we do. We have to adapt. We hope to be at the level required by the Copa Libertadores and the National Championship.”
