Little by little Everton can get out of the pressure. There were several experiments that Frank Lampard’s team was able to make, but they didn’t result in a goal.

Arsenal were able to steal a 1-0 advantage in the 33rd minute. Starting from a corner kick, the ball then fell at the feet of Gabriel Jesus, who without further ado immediately fired hard.

The goal was the third for Gabriel Jesus since being redeemed from Manchester City. He had previously scored two goals in Arsenal’s test match against Nuremberg.

Arsenal increased the advantage to 2-0 in the 36th minute. Gabriel Martinelli’s diagonal cross was met by Bukayo Saka at the far post, who freely beat Jordan Pickford.

Everton were unable to score throughout the first half. Arsenal also led by a difference of two goals until halftime.

Arsenal made a few changes early in the second half and Everton overhauled the whole. Despite many changes in players on the field, Arsenal are still more dominant in possession of the ball.

The match seemed to only take up half the field. Everton were very passive when Arsenal had the ball, which seemed as if the team from Merseyside were just training to defend.

Arsenal failed to add a goal after continuing to press throughout the second half. The team from North London even then closed the match by beating Everton 2-0.
