Gabriel Deck has an agreement with Oklahoma City Thunder and is, practically, a fact that will be a new Argentine in the NBA. The Real Madrid player will make the leap as did his compatriot Facundo Campazzo, who signed with the Denver Nuggets.
The Tortu played his last game with Real Madrid in Turkey against Fenerbahce and scored 19 points to guide the Whites to the quarterfinals in the Euroleague. Deck also leaves the Madrid discipline for salary reasons, he was one of the worst paid of the staff.
Deck jumped in 2018 from San Lorenzo to Real Madrid and with the Spanish cast he won a League, a Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.
The Argentinian will pay the recession of his contract, a sum close to two million dollars to be able to don the Oklahoma City Thunder uniform. The team is in the process of restructuring and has 34 draft picks for the next seven years, of which 17 are first-round.
