Four minutes into the golden match, Elfsborg screamed for a penalty.
Gabriel Busanello tore off Per Frick’s shirt in the penalty area.
– Of course it should be punishment, says ex-judge Jonas Eriksson.
Shirt pulling in the penalty area is commonplace in football.
But undressing someone is less common.
At least that’s what happened four minutes into the golden match between Malmö FF and Elfsborg.
Gabriel Busanello and Per Frick fought in connection with a corner. The MFF player managed to keep the Elfsborg striker away from the ball and in return he got Frick’s shirt.
The ex-judge: Shall be punishment
The brass completely sonically tore his shirt off.
– He takes my shirt. I don’t know if there can be a clearer shirt pulling actually. It’s a fight all the way, says Frick.
In Kanal 5, ex-judge Jonas Eriksson thought that the guests should have a penalty.
– We see Busanello tearing and tearing and the shirt is pulled off only after the ball has left. It doesn’t matter in the rulebook, of course it should be a penalty. But the only explanation (that it doesn’t happen) can be that the ball isn’t there.
Malmö needs to win to salvage SM gold. Kryss or Elfsborg victory and the gold ends up in Borås for the first time in eleven years.
