Gabonese woman appointed as Deputy Secretary General

Libreville, Saturday April 13, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – This post crowns the knowledge and ability of Danielle Patricia Manon, former CEO of the CDC.

According to the final report of the extraordinary summit of heads of state and government of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central African States (CEMAC), Danielle Patricia Manon was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC).

This appointment crowns the experience and ability of this fellow, who was the Director General of the Caisse de Dépôts et des Consignations (CDC). Therefore, the graduate received congratulations from the Gabonese authorities, especially from the Minister of Economy, the current chairman of the board of directors of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

“I congratulate the graduate, and I wish her every success in her new role in the service of our regional community,” said Mays Mouissi.

Before heading the CDC, it must be said that Patricia Danielle Manon spent more than 23 years within the BGFIBank Group, where she was the Managing Director of BGFIBank Gabon.

As a body managed by CEMAC, COBAC has six members. Chaired by the BEAC Governor, he ensures that all credit institutions and microfinance institutions are monitored.
