Libreville, Friday January 19, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, wanted to reassure Gabonese living in Senegal about the opportunities offered by the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions during a meeting held yesterday Wednesday in Dakar.
While staying in Dakar, Senegal, the Head of State took the opportunity to interact with the Gabonese diaspora. In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema spoke on various subjects without taboo with his compatriots who came in large numbers to meet him. The latter thus expressed their difficulties regarding their administrative situations, living conditions and their daily lives in this country.
As a good father, in return, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema made some announcements aimed at bringing a smile to the Gabonese community of Senegal. “These include, among other things, the increase in the number of scholarship students from 50 to 1000, the chartering of 3 military planes in order to repatriate Gabonese wishing to return to the country, the provision of a funds amounting to one billion in order to resolve the social problems of the Gabonese diaspora in friendly countries and many others”, mentions a press release from the Gabonese presidency. In all simplicity, the Gabonese president offered himself a crowd bath with his compatriots. Not without receiving some curriculum vitae along the way.
