Libreville, Tuesday April 9, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The work of the inclusive national dialogue scheduled to be held from April 2 to 30, 2024, has the main objective: to write a new page in the political, economic and social history of Gabon. This is the ambition set by the transition authorities, headed by General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
“All the children of Gabon must come together for a better and prosperous Gabon.” This is the credo of the Head of State, at the opening of the major meeting in Libreville, he undoubtedly left the door open to a possible opening of the truth-justice and reconciliation commission. Indeed, observers of Gabonese political life believe that this meeting constitutes an opportunity for compatriots to say everything, to allow the country to recover after the management of the former regime.
It is also normal that all light should be shed on the post-electoral events of 2009 and 2016. The political history of a country cannot be erased with a simple wave of a magic stick. No ! “The committee for the transition and restoration of institutions (CTRI) reserves the right when the time comes to open a truth – justice – reconciliation commission,” announced the president of the transition. As we see, the Gabonese people will regain their violated dignity.
