As a prelude to the general elections scheduled for this year, all Gabonese from the interior and from abroad of age to enroll are expected in the various registration centers open for this purpose. According to the Minister of State, Minister of the Interior, Lambert-Noël Matha, who gave more details on May 5 during an exchange with the press, there are 1,500 enrolling agents scattered across the 159 centers operational in Gabon and 31 abroad. According to the distribution in Gabon, 23 centers are open in the Estuary, 31 in Haut-Ogooué, 9 in Moyen-Ogooué, 23 in Ngounié, 16 in Nyanga, 14 in Ogooué-Ivindo, 14 in ‘Ogooué-Lolo, 12 in Ogooué-Maritime and 17 in Woleu-Ntem.
To be enrolled, you must have a legalized birth certificate, a supplementary judgment, a national identity card, a passport or a receipt for a CNI application. This operation, according to the Minister of State, Minister of the Interior, Lambert-Noël Matha, aims “primarily, to enroll citizens aged 18 and enjoying their civil and political rights.
