Libreville, September 22, 2023 (AGP) – The President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, received, on Thursday, in audience in Libreville, the President of the Senate, Paulette Missambo, who took stock of the functioning of Haute chamber of parliament.
“Madame Paulette Missambo came to give General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma an update on the functioning of the institution for which she is responsible. Madam President of the Senate has, to this end, submitted proposals necessary for the success of her mission, in particular the rehabilitation of the premises, then better representation of political parties within the institution,” indicates the press release from the presidency received. at the AGP.
In response, the President of the Transition, whose main focus is the restoration of institutions, took note of the requests made by his host and gave him clear guidelines with a view to improving the functioning of the said institution.
From the opposition, Paulette Missambo was appointed head of the transitional Senate on September 11.
