Pierre Duro will chair the Public Procurement Task Force.
Libreville, September 21, 2023 (AGP) – the president of the transition, Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, has just appointed, this Thursday, Pierre Duro at the head of the mission of the task force on internal and external debt of the State, announced the spokesperson for the CTRI, Colonel Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi.
The septuagenarian of French origin, who had already led the previous Task Force, will have, with his team, to carry out control, audit and verification operations for all public contracts of the Gabonese State. He will be assisted by the Air Brigade General, Jean Hilaire Moubemba Maganga.
Divided into several pools, including Water, Forest, environment and projects, internal and external debt and control of donors, verification of procedure and award of public contracts, public works, as well as the infrastructure and buildings pool, those responsible for these different pools will have to do everything possible to carry out this mission.
“The Head of State reaffirms here to put an end to financial mismanagement and economic crimes in our country,” underlined Colonel Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi.
Administration and business leaders who will receive summons from the Task Force are invited to go, without delay, to the offices of the said commission.
