Libreville, December 12, 2023 (AGP) – The Ministry of the Economy and Participations made public the overall amount generated in November by the activities of the General Directorate of Competition, Consumption and Fraud Repression (DGCCRF), which amount amounts to more than 79 million (79,063,788) CFA francs, indicates a press release from the said ministry.
According to the ministry, the offenses noted during market surveillance operations generated approximately 35 million (34,965,000) CFA francs from 531 controls. The price scale generated 7,720,000 CFA francs.
Regarding the marketing authorization, 2111 files were processed, of which eight (8) were subject to payment of inspection fees. This area therefore provided more than 1,800,000 (1,884,215) CFA francs.
Regarding the authorization for consumption, it is more than 32 million (32,391,309) in revenue for 2,432 files processed, of which 108 are subject to payment of inspection fees.
On leases, the 199 files processed generated more than 2 million (2,103,264) francs, only one of which was the subject of litigation for 1,441,764 francs.
