The President of the Republic carried out a ministerial reshuffle on Thursday, April 27, 2023, marked by the appointment of three new ministers and the ousting of the Minister of Mines Elvis Ossindji from the government.
The declaration made public by the secretary of the presidency announces a slight reshuffle led by the prime minister head of government Alain Claude Billie-By-Nze. Indeed, among the new ministers appointed last Thursday, April 27, the Head of State was kind enough to fill the void in the face of the resignation of the Minister of Transport.
Thus, Roger Bibaye Itandas replaces Brice Constant Paillat (resigned) as Minister of Transport. Then we have Sylvestre Chen Mezui M’Obiang as Minister of Mines replacing Elvis Ossindji who had held this position since March 2022. And was also ousted from the government.
As a last appointment, the Head of State also appointed Jean-Claude Ivala as the new Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior. The latter will from this April 27 make their entry into the government of Alain Claude Billie-By-Nze.
